The Place Hotel celebrated its 10th birthday on 20th September, with champagne and cupcakes for all guests on the day.
Since opening in 2001, The Place has evolved over the years, with new reception, bar area, function room, conference suite, gym, Victorian garden and of course, Opal and Ocon’s offices being developed within the building.
London to Paris Cycle Ride Raises £17,000 (and rising)
Well done to Rob Greaves from Opal Head Office and his companion cyclists, who are covered over 500 kilometres from London to Paris in just 4 days, all in aid of the Opal Foundation.
Congratulations and well done to our intrepid 3 Peaks Challenge team, who overcame heat, snow and exhaustion to climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland & Wales within 24hrs.

Raffle tickets were sold by Opal Group staff to residents, guests, suppliers, friends and family during October 2010, with a cuddly Opal Foundation bear at each site to promote the raffle.
