Opal 1 London – brand new for September 2008
Opal Property Group continues its expansion in London with the September opening of Opal 1, Will Wyatt Court, a 514 bed student hall in Hoxton, north London.
Opal 1 London represents the second investment Opal has made in the capital and all rooms have been leased to the University of Arts, London.
Opal has incorporated all of the features desired for modern student living; quality, security, good transport links and value for money. All rooms are spacious, en-suite and offer a choice of standard or deluxe (double bed) rooms in cluster flats for 4-6 students. Students living at Opal 1 London feel safe with the 24 hour staff presence, CCTV, key fob entry system. Getting to university and the vibrant attractions of the capital is easy, with Old Street underground station just 10 minutes walk away.
Living at Opal 1 London is about more than a room; students can socialise in the common room, which will feature Sky TV. They are proactively encouraged to form resident’s committees, to host events for both other students and the local community throughout the year. It is anticipated that the resident’s association activities will encourage greater interaction between the students and local residents.
Opal 1 London joins Opal 2 McMillan Student Village, Greenwich, in the Opal London portfolio. By 2010, two more halls, Opal 3 London and Opal 4 London, both in Tufnell Park, north London, will also open.
