Opal are proud to own and operate The Place Apartment Hotel.
Originally known as 'The London Warehouse', The Place is a remarkable grade 2 listed building that has remained prominent in the heart of the City for over 100 years.
When Opal purchased the London Warehouse, the building had remained derelict for over thirty years, in a depressed former industrial area of Manchester. Following the conversion, in a challenging design, the rejuvenation of the Place proved a catalyst for further regeneration in the Piccadilly area of Manchester - now a thriving part of the city centre.
The Place provides apartment style living for both short and long stays, a model that has proven extremely successful.
In 2007, a complete refurbishment of The Place's reception and communal areas has seen the addition of a hotel bar, with plans for a complete conferencing facility.
